About the Academy
What do you want to be when you grow up? Our Career Academy can help!

Our robust Career Academy, thoughtfully designed based on student interest, features numerous high-quality partnerships with other entities—local employers, higher education institutions, to provide out-of-school and in-school learning opportunities so that students can become better prepared for their desired potential future career choice.

In Career Academy courses, students are given opportunities to work in teams on real projects and begin to understand the importance of professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and clear oral communication skills. Local employers, in partnership with our school, allow students to experience real work and gain insights beyond the classroom. All of these opportunities allow students to view how their education is related to a career field.

With recognition from over 200 local employers, our students are encouraged to earn industry credentials within our Career Academy, enhancing their marketability in the workforce. When we provide them with industry certifications, they can get into the workforce above entry level.

Our Career Academy offers a variety of rigorous and interesting courses including, but not limited to, health care, cosmetology, culinary arts, early childhood education, business, and public safety pathways.
